Alpha Maritime Deliver to Somalia and the Maldives for the Aerospace Industry

Alpha Maritime Services in Italy, have been busy with several important shipments completed for the aerospace industry.

Firstly, a big breakbulk shipment was handled from La Spezia in Italy to Mogadishu in Somalia. 285 cases were shipped with a total weight of around 250,000kg to Mogadishu Civil Aviation Authority under a contract with ICAO for the total renewing of the main airport in Somalia. The cases contain a full radar system and are pictured in the gallery below.

Secondly, with the assistance of their Universal Freight Organisation (UFO) partner in the Maldives, Super Logistics, Alpha have handled shipments consisting of a radar tower and radome to Malé for the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority. President & CEO at Alpha, Massimo Corte comments; "This month, we are also shipping a radar iron tower of 23m in height and weighing 100tn from Italy to the Maldives and in September, we are already booked to ship the full primary and secondary radar apparatus, all hardware and software plus a dozen of other air shipments for spare parts.
